Including 285 clubs, 5000 volunteers et 80 000 members, the Fédération française des clubs alpins et de montagne gives you access to the mountain's doors, step by step. The FFCAM is a multisport federation proposing activities such as alpinism, trekking, climbing, snowshoes trekking, airsports, ski touring, mountain biking, canyoning, caving, etc.– in a wonderful environment. The Fédération française des clubs alpins et de montagne also gives great importance to promoting the knowledge and protection of mountain, a natural and sensible place. It is involved in the sustainable development of high valleys through 131 refuges, cottages and mountain centers. It is a key player in the mountain world. The FFCAM is a member of the UIAA (Union Internationale des Associations d'Alpinisme) and the Club Arc Alpin.
